Situation: Promotional campaign to encourage self-expressive communication that preserves the sanctity of Standard English.
Key Publics: White and African Americans
Analysis: Adults with children in school, people who text-message or post opinions online, people who are literate,
people who listen/write speeches, writers
Benefit Statement: Those who are trained to write, type, and speak using Standard English will be able to protect themselves
from false accusations and misinterpretations due to language use, gain consciousness of moral values instilled by speaking
in true statements, and share personal opinions without offending or compromising the identity of others or themselves.
